In this 20-minute video, AFS Sales Consultant David Feaster recently had the honor of speaking with Scavuzzo’s Director of IT, John Robba about how his new AFS customer-facing order management system (OMS) implementation helped Scavuzzo’s.

The premier food service company, with 15 processing facilities, serving three states: Colorado, Texas, and Louisianna, and the U.S.’s third largest metropolitan area, Chicago, recently migrated from an older system to a custom-built solution by AFS Technologies, a leading provider of software solutions purpose-built for consumer goods manufacturers, food distributors, and sales agencies.  

John found that through the reference of historical orders, and other key AFS OMS features, he was able to reduce the cost to serve Scavuzzo’s customers, and report bottom-line results, including: 

  • increased add-on sales,
  • decreased lost sales,
  • reduction in man-hours,
  • automated tasking, invoicing, reporting, and more.
